About Hearing Loss

There are many websites dedicated to the description of generic hearing losses.  Reading all of these descriptions can be very confusing for any patient.  Help With Hearing prefers to describe your hearing loss in terms you can understand and in specific terms based on your specific hearing evaluation.  The American Speech Language Hearing Association has a descriptive website describing the different types of hearing loss:  http://www.asha.org/public/hearing/disorders/types.htm

Hearing loss can be a gradual process.  If you are experiencing any of the following situations, you definitely need "Help With Hearing":

  • People seem to mumble

  • You are constantly asking people to repeat themselves in general conversations

  • Family members are constantly asking you to turn the television down

  • You are having difficulty hearing, especially in the presence of background noise

Since you are visiting our website, either you or someone you care about needs Help With Hearing.

If you have not had a hearing evaluation, the first step is to have a hearing evaluation conducted by a licensed Audiologist.  One of our staff Audiologists can help you through this process.  They will work with you to choose the best hearing aids, designed to work specifically for your hearing loss.  After you thoroughly understand your hearing loss, you can choose to purchase hearing aids either through our online process, or through our network of local Audiologists.

To better understand your hearing loss simply contact Help With Hearing at 1-866-929-9234 for information.
